Card Craft
Last Thursday in a galaxy far, far away...
It was the largest interstellar cloud that you'd ever seen. It stretched across several lightyears, and you could see it all without turning your head. You must have stared at it for an hour, maybe more. The ship was quiet, but your mind was not.
The Empire's grip on the mineral trade had been tightening, making every pickup and drop-off more dangerous than the last. The docks were crawling with soldiers and thieves, all clawing at your precious cargo.
The thieves were desperate, just like you. It had become more and more difficult to find work, and you all had to eat at the end of the day. It was the soldiers that you couldn't stomach. They were seizing minerals to fuel The Empire's war machines. It was only a matter of time before you would lose the little bit of freedom that you had. At least you were safe out here - days travel between docks, and not a single vessel in sight.
Then it happened. An alarm went off, signaling that an Imperial Ship was approaching. You knew that your time had run out. From that moment on, they would be able to find you. From that moment on, you would be a slave to The Empire.
Description
Card Craft is a love letter to deck building games. It borrows from various games in the genre and only implements the essentials. Every level, The Empire demands that you hand over an increasing amount of minerals. Only by growing your space mining operation, can you meet their demands before time runs out!

Gave it a try, but it seems to just continue after I've run out of lives? Bug, or are y'all still in the testing phase?
Hey there! Still in the implementation phase unfortunately, so should've given a bit of a "coming soon" message 😅
Hey Shannon! I've been working on bugfixes and features to bring the game to its next milestone. I've implemented music, sound effects, a shop, cosmetics, I've rebalanced the game and updated the Itch page. It would mean the world to me if you could check it out again and give me some feedback. Playing on PC means nice headphones for stereo, while playing on mobile means tapping away at the screen from the comfort of the couch.
